Dear Hanna,

               I am recently engaged and trying to figure out what kind of budget to make for my wedding. I want to be realistic. How do I know how much to set aside for my gown?

Budget Savvy Bride!

Dear Budget Savvy,
Congratulations! Planning a wedding can be a very stressful time, here are some budget tips that will help you along your way.
Bridal experts say that you should spend;
*6.3% of your budget on your bridal gown, Veil and other accessories.
*0.9% on the grooms formalwear.

So how do you work these percentages into your budget? Simple math.

Example: Let's say your budget is $22,000, the average cost of a wedding.
$22,000 x 6.3% =$1386.00 (bridal)
$22,000 x 0.9% =$198.00 (tuxedos)

Now use your budget to work out your costs. You're on your way!
